Overview

Supply and delivery of material for Ugu District Municipality, including agricultural seedlings and related equipment (industrial machines, safety overlocker, embroidery machines and design software). Bidders should have capabilities in agricultural inputs and manufacturing/equipment supply, with ability to deliver to Oslo Beach within the stated scope. Open to bidders meeting PPPFA 2022, tax clearance, CSD registration and CIPC registration.

Requirements

• CSD registration and CIPC registration; tax compliance (SARS) with PIN where applicable
• Completion and submission of official bidding documents: MBD1 (Part A & B), MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8 and MBD9; certified IDs; proof of CSD; tax clearance status; declarations and any disability proof if applicable
• Evaluation uses PPPFA rules with 80/20 weighting (price 80, specific goals 20); specific goals include ownership (EME/QSE black ownership), promotion of local enterprise within the district, and other allowed goals
• Bids must comply with GCC and any applicable special conditions; no award to persons in the service of the state; bids must be valid for a defined period (30 days) and are not to be submitted by fax/email/late

How to Apply

• Bid documents may be obtained from the Ugu District Municipality Treasury/SCM or downloaded from the Ugu website (Tender Document) from 19 Oct 2026 to closing date
• Submit sealed bids in the official bid box at 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach by 12:00 on 26 October 2026 (Tender Document); late or incomplete submissions will be disqualified; bids valid for 30 days (Tender Document)
