Overview

This tender seeks a Framework Agreement for the supply and delivery of meat and meat products for Kenya Railways’ Railway Training Institute and NCS Restaurant over three years. It is reserved for Special Groups, open to qualified meat/food suppliers, with a minimum of seven alternative vendors and the ability to tender for one or more lots.

Requirements

• Reserved for Special Groups (as stated in the tender header).
• Suppliers must be specialized in meat products and able to service Railway Training Institute and NCS Restaurant.
• Tender security: KShs 200,000 from an insurer licensed by the Insurance Regulatory Authority and listed by PPRA, or a bank guarantee; validity 210 days from tender opening.
• Eligibility and conformity: provide country of origin declarations, evidence of conformity to technical specs, and Manufacturer Authorization if not the manufacturer; tax clearance for Kenyan bidders; JV arrangements if applicable.
• No conflicts of interest, compliance with anti-corruption laws, and signing of the Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
• Submission: hard-copy submissions only; numbered pages serialized; one tender per firm (JV allowed with specific conditions).
• Additional: clarify documents must be obtained from the specified sources and can require pre-tender briefing or questions in writing.
