Overview

Supply and delivery of mill bearings on an as and when required basis for five years at Matimba Power Station. The work targets suppliers of mill bearings and bearing spares with capability to provide bearing data sheets, sleeves spares, cataloguing and local-content commitments, and to submit via Eskom’s e-tendering portal. Relevant bidders include manufacturers/distributors of milling bearings and related mechanical components with documented purchase-order experience and ability to meet Eskom’s governance and integrity requirements (Annexures A–J).

Requirements

• Eligibility: comply with Eskom’s eligibility rules (no sanctions, not on Tender Defaulters list, not restricted by Eskom).
• Mandatory documents: submit all mandatory tender returnables (SBD forms and Annexures A–J) via the Eskom e-tendering system.
• Technical: provide data sheets for mill bearings and sleeves; demonstrate five or more bearing-related purchase orders with delivery notes; ensure data sheets show correct SOW specifications.
• Cataloguing/branding: comply with cataloguing/labeling requirements for delivered items.
• Pricing: submit pricing in PDF and Excel formats as part of the Pricing Schedule/BOQ; no zip files.
• Other: attend the non-mandatory clarification briefing if desired and respond within the tender’s stated timeframes (including returns by deadlines).
