Overview

Framework contract for the supply and delivery of motor vehicle tubes, tyres and batteries. Two-year framework contract open to national bidders, with a reservation for AGPO-PWD. Requirements

• Tax and local representation: Kenyan tax clearance certificate; if not manufacturing in Kenya, evidence of local representation/maintenance support.
• Supplier capability: evidence of qualifications to perform the contract; may require Manufacturer’s Authorization for non-manufacturers; conformity with technical specifications; origin declarations for goods.

How to Apply

• Obtain documents: free of charge, electronically from Bungoma County website and tenders portal (see SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MOTOR VEHICLE TUBES, TYRES AND BATTERIES; AGPO reservation noted in separate notice).
• Prepare tender: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Declaration, Manufacturer Authorization (if applicable), JV documents (if any), tax clearance, and declarations of independence.
• Submission: hard copy Tender must be delivered to The Chief Officer of Finance, Bungoma, with tender box deposits outside the Supply Chain Management Office Headquarters (see addresses). Include ORIGINAL and COPIES as required, and serialize pages.
• Deadline: 28 July 2026 at 10:00 A.M (document lists 10:00 A.M; metadata shows 08:00) — submit before deadline; late tenders are rejected.
• Clarifications and briefing: written clarifications by the date in the Tender Data Sheet; pre-tender briefing details may be in the TDS (not specified here).
• Opening: public opening immediately after deadline, attendance permitted (document details).
