Overview

The Nairobi City County Government seeks the supply and delivery of motor vehicle lubricants. Open to qualified suppliers of automotive lubricants with the ability to meet Kenyan procurement requirements and provide the necessary registrations, tax clearance, and contractual capabilities.

Requirements

• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act, including anti-corruption declarations and non-debarment.
• Eligibility rules covering conflict of interest, JV arrangements, and restrictions on public officers and related parties.
• Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration as required (form specified in the tender forms).
• Manufacturer authorization if the tenderer does not manufacture the goods.
• Tax clearance and, where applicable, registration with Kenyan authorities; ability to supply goods that meet specified Kenyan origin and environmental requirements.
• Conformity to the Schedule of Requirements and itemized pricing in the Price Schedules (Section VII, Schedule of Requirements and Section IV price forms).
• Kenya-origin declarations for goods; certain items must be sourced from Kenya with no substitutions (as outlined in the Schedule of Requirements).

How to Apply

• Deadline: 29 June 2026 at 11:00 (see SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MOTOR VEHICLES LUBRICANTS.pdf).
• Submission: physically in a sealed envelope/file to City Hall 4th Floor Room 400; one original plus copies; or as otherwise stated in the Tender Data Sheet (electronic submission allowed if specified).
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender, Price Schedules, Tender Security or Declaration, Joint Venture documents if applicable, Manufacturer Authorization (if required), tax clearance, eligibility/conformity documentation, and any other documents listed in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
