Overview

Supply and delivery of network switches and tape drives to the Cape Winelands District Municipality. Bidders should be IT hardware suppliers with experience in municipal procurement and ability to meet SCM requirements, including supplier registration and B-BBEE/locality considerations.

Requirements

• Registration on the CWDM Accredited Supplier Database and the Central Supplier Database; keep details up‑to‑date.
• Complete and submit the Formal Written Price Quotation documents (in BLACK ink, no Tippex), including a signed authorisation resolution and the original forms; envelope sealed and endorsed.
• CIDB registration number if applicable.
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Clearance PIN; VAT registration if contract value triggers it; municipal rates verification if applicable.
• B-BBEE: provide valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate (SANAS/IRBA) or sworn affidavit for EMEs; consolidated certificates for JV/consortia.
• Locality considerations: municipal account not older than 90 days, or official bank/address confirmation; complete Annexures for locality points.
• Site/information meetings: attend if specified; all JV partners must attend if applicable.
• Bid validity: quotation remains valid for 180 days.

• Submission method: duly completed quotation documents in a sealed envelope placed in the official tender box at 29 Du Toit Street, Stellenbosch (CWDM). Public opening after closing.
• Documents to complete/submit: Formal Written Price Quotations including MBD 1, MBD 6.1, MBD 9, and the Contract Form (MBD 7.1/7.2); tax and vendor registration documents as applicable.
