Overview

The procurement is for the supply and delivery of nipples (galvanised iron pipe fittings) to Ugu District Municipality. The scope covers items such as 100 mm and 150 mm flanges, reducing bushes, plugs, tees, and barrel nipples, to Park Rynie Stores. It is open to hardware/fabricated-metal suppliers capable of fulfilling plumbing fittings requirements and meeting mandatory pre-qualifications (CIPC registration, CSD on National Treasury, SARS tax compliance, and completion of official bid forms).

Requirements

• Registration with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC).
• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with a current update (not older than 3 months).
• Tax compliance status (SARS TCS PIN) or equivalent; and where applicable, proof of tax compliance for joint ventures.
• Completion and submission of the official bid forms (MBD1 Part A/B, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9).
• Copies of directors/owners’ IDs; supporting documents for specific goals if claimed (EME/QSE certificates or affidavits).
• Compliance with PPPFA and related regulations, including provision of documents to support specific goals if claimed.
• Bids must be on the official forms and submitted in the bid box; late, faxed, emailed or re-typed bids are not accepted.

• Deadline: 15 October 2026 at 12:00 (closing time) as per the bid documents.
• Submission: Bids must be deposited in the official Bid Box at 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach, Port Shepstone; no electronic submissions are permitted.
• Documents to submit: Official forms (MBD1 Part A/B, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and supporting registrations (CSD, CIPC, SARS TCS, VAT), copies of IDs, and any MBDs applicable for specific goals.
