Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of nitrogen gas as and when required, plus rental of 10 x 11 kg nitrogen gas cylinders for a period of 60 months. The opportunity is for NTCSA/Eskom to engage a supplier capable of on-demand nitrogen gas supply and cylinder rental for the Apollo Converter Station (Apollo & CS Grid). Bidders should be able to provide high-purity nitrogen (99.997%), cylinder rental (11 kg CYL), delivery logistics, and ongoing support under an NEC3 Supply Contract framework. Documented requirements cover ISO 9001 quality management, OHS/SHE compliance, and supplier integrity and local content provisions (see ITT and related annexures).

Requirements

• Provide supply of nitrogen gas on demand and rental of 10 x 11 kg cylinders (high purity; 99.997%) for 60 months. (Scope of Work Nitrogen GasSign)
• Quality Management: conform to Eskom’s Supplier Quality Management specification (ISO 9001) and maintain relevant QA documentation, plans, and audits. (240-105658000; 240-68099512)
• Safety and SHE: comply with OHS/NtCSA SHE plans, risk assessments, contractor SHE plan, training, and life-saving rules. (OHS Spec Apollo; Annexure D)
• Certifications and returnables: complete and submit mandatory SBD forms, Local Content declarations, CPA requirements, tax clearance, CIDB proof where applicable, and electronic tender copies (PDF + Excel pricing). (559-235050781 Rev 3)
