SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF OFFICE FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT (ON AN AS-AND-WHEN-NEEDED BASIS) FOR A CONTRACT PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS

Overview

Supply and delivery of office furniture and equipment on an as-and-when-needed basis for a contract period of three years, open to suppliers of office furniture and related equipment who meet municipal procurement requirements (CIDB, CSD, tax clearance, B-BBEE) and can deliver to Prince Albert Municipality. Bidders should be able to provide desks, chairs, storage and related items as needed; the bid uses an 80/20 evaluation with locality and B-BBEE points and requires a minimum functionality score (as per tender). Vendors must meet standard SCM and procurement prerequisites (CSD, tax compliance, BBBEE, CIDB).

Requirements

• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and provide CSD number.
• Tax clearance status or Tax Compliance Pin (SARS); separate TCS for joint ventures/consortia.
• B-BBEE status level certificate or sworn affidavit (original or certified copy accepted).
• CIDB registration/CRS number suitable for the procurement.
• Functionality/quality scoring with a minimum threshold to be responsive.
• Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with tender number/description; no late or unmarked bids.
• Prices inclusive of VAT, quoted in Rand; adherence to municipal SCM policies and regulations.
