Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of original MAN bus spare parts and provision of repair services for 36 months. Eligible bidders include OEMs or dealers accredited by MAN, with OEM accreditation valid for the contract duration; bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and on the eThekwini supplier database, and meet general SCM/health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• OEM original equipment parts and repair services for MAN buses; accreditation letter from the OEM valid for the contract duration.
• Be enrolled on the CSD (MAAA prefix) and on the eThekwini supplier database; provide proof in the tender.
• Submit all Returnable Documents: Authority of Signatory, Tax Compliance PIN or Tax Clearance, Declaration of Municipal Fees, Occupational Health and Safety Act declaration, MBD forms (4, 5, 6.1, 8, 9), Official Tender Form, and any Joint Venture agreements if applicable.
• If applicable, provide audited annual financial statements (for tenders > R10m) and evidence of subcontracting plans for Specific Goals.
• Provide OEM accreditation letter (or equivalent) valid for the contract period to be considered.
• Safety: comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements; sign the OHS Agreement (37.2) as part of the submission.

• Submission deadline: 21 August 2026, 11:00 (hard copy in Tender Box at 166 KE Masinga Road) and electronic submission via the ESP portal; hard copy submission prevails for validity (see documents in 35332-1J Tender Document.pdf).

• Submissions must be on official tender documentation from eTenders or Durban website; download, print, bind, and also upload via ESP (see (35332-1J Tender Document.pdf)).
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration; eThekwini supplier database enrollment; OEM accreditation for repairs; Tax Compliance (PIN or Clearance).
• Briefing session: none (no compulsory briefing per SCT 3(4)).
