Overview

MOI UNIVERSITY invites tenders for the SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PHARMACEUTICAL (HUMAN DRUGS) AND NON-PHARMACEUTICAL ITEMS under a FRAMEWORK CONTRACT for 3 years. It is an open national procurement for health sector goods; eligible bidders include manufacturers or authorized distributors with Kenyan representation.

Requirements

• Eligibility: open to qualified bidders; JV rules apply; avoid conflicts of interest; anti-corruption declarations required.
• Local content: foreign tenderers must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan suppliers/contractors.
• Goods eligibility: goods must be registered in Kenya; if not yet registered, registration must occur before contract becomes effective.
• Qualifications: Manufacturer’s Authorization for non-manufacturers; local service representation if needed; meet Section III criteria.
• Tax/compliance: valid tax clearance certificate; other statutory pre-qualifications as per TDS.
• Tender security: KSh 500,000 tender security (or equivalent) valid for 150 days after tender opening.
• Documentation: complete Form of Tender, price schedules, joint venture (if any), and all evidence of eligibility/conformity.
• Transparency: comply with anti-corruption and audit provisions; allow procurement audits.
