Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of pneumatic tools and waterpumps for ClanWilliam Dam in the Western Cape for DWS Construction South. Bid is open to suppliers of pneumatic tools and related water-pumps with capacity to meet construction-site needs, and who meet tax, registration, and local-content requirements appropriate to South Africa.

Requirements

• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or Tax Clearance; CSD verification where applicable.
• Registration: active Central Supplier Database (CSD) and active CIPC registration; provide proof as required.
• B-BBEE: valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate (or qualifying affidavit for EMEs/QSEs).
• Compulsory forms: complete and sign SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1 (and Annexure C for local content).
• Authority to sign: provide letter of appointment or board resolution (proof of authority).
• Technical: provide technical datasheets/brochures clearly indicating compliance with specifications; manufacturer availability/parts support letter.
• Local content: abide by DTI thresholds; Annexure C must be completed.
• Pricing: complete Pricing Schedule; bid evaluated on price plus specific goals (80/20 or 90/10 framework).
• Approval to subcontract/joint ventures: separate TCS/CSD proof for each party involved.
• Conditions of contract: NT GCC with SCC where applicable; adherence to delivery, warranty (12 months), and performance security terms.
