Overview

Supply and delivery of a portable chlorine meter for field monitoring (DR 300 pocket colorimeter) and accessories. Bidders should be suppliers of water-quality testing equipment, instrumentation and field-monitoring devices. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD), have tax compliance status, and be able to provide the required MBD forms and supporting documents in line with PPPFA rules.

Requirements

• Must be registered on CSD and have tax compliance status.
• Submit required MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8 and MBD9) with supporting documents.
• Provide CIPC registration and certified ID copies of directors/owners where applicable; ensure compliance with tax and related pre-qualification documents.
• Evidence of SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) or CSD number if TCS not available.
• Attach proof of municipal service payments if applicable and any disability proof if claiming specific goals.
• Bids must be completed on official forms, adhere to PPPFA rules, and be valid for 30 days from closing date.
• Submissions must be sealed in the official bid box and delivered by the closing time; late/faxed quotations will be invalid.

• Submission method: sealed bids deposited in the Bid Box at the Reception of Ugu District Municipality, 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach.
• Documents to submit: Official bid response forms (MBD1 Parts A & B, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and all supporting documents listed in the tender; ensure CSD registration and tax compliance details are included.
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: CSD, SARS TCS PIN or Tax Clearance, CIPC registration, certified ID copies, and proof of municipal accounts if relevant.
