Supply and Delivery of Power Transmission Couplings (Single Universal Joints) to NRF-iThemba LABS, Faure. The supplier will provide 20 high-precision single Cardan universal joints (AISI 303 stainless steel) with specified dimensions, delivered to iThemba LABS, Faure, 7131.

Bidders should have capabilities in precision mechanical components, stainless steel fabrication, and be able to meet South Africa PPPFA procurement and CSD/tax compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Specifications: High Precision Universal Joint; Type: Single Cardan; Material: AISI 303; D 12.7 mm; L 40 mm; Bore 5 mm; operating angle up to 45°; quantity 20; delivery charge (1 lot); VAT inclusive. (see filename above)
• Compliance: On Central Supplier Database (CSD); provide CSD Summary Report; tax-compliant status verified (PIN); B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit if claiming specific goals.
• Documentation: Complete SBD 4 (Bidder Disclosure) and SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim) with supporting BBBEE documentation.
• Commercial: Prices valid for 60 days from RFQ closing; payments 30 days from invoice receipt; firm delivery period; avoid late submissions; PPPFA 80/20 with 20 for specific goals; mention delivery lead time.
• Evaluation: Preference points (80/20) based on price and specific goals; NRF/labs may award whole or part or multiple items; contract award subject to PPPFA and GCC.
