Overview

Supply and Delivery of PPE: Environmental Services for 24 months. Open to accredited PPE suppliers who can provide a complete PPE package (uniforms, jackets, trousers, boots, gloves, head/face gear, high-visibility wear, rainwear, protective accessories) with 100% local content, SABS compliance, and on-site size sampling for municipal staff.

Requirements

• Accredited supplier capable of a 24-month PPE program; samples required to confirm sizes.
• Documentation: original municipality bid document; CIPC registration; certified IDs for Directors (≤3 months old); proof of CSD registration; SARS Tax PIN (or TCS); fully completed MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD6.2, MBD6.4, MBD8, MBD9); signed municipal account clearance letter.
• JV/consortium: separate TCS/PINs for all partners and signed JV agreement.
• Tax/registrations: VAT registration if bid exceeds threshold; tax clearance in order.
• Local content: 100%.
• Financials: Annual Financial Statements for the last three years.
• Evaluation: minimum 70% functionality; 80/20 scoring (80 Price, 20 Specific Goals per MBD 6.1); preference points for targeted goals.
• Other: firmPrices; no late/incomplete/fax bids; bids submitted via email by closing; samples of all sizes must be provided.
• Product requirements: PPE must be new; 12-month warranty; compliance with SABS codes; delivery within six weeks; accurate sizing and colour/logo specifications as per terms.
