Supply and Delivery of PPE: Environmental Services for 24 MonthsClosed

Overview

Procurement of PPE and environmental services for 24 months for Winnie Madikizela-Mandela Local Municipality. Bidders should be accredited PPE suppliers/manufacturers or distributors capable of delivering a full PPE package (uniforms, footwear, headgear, PPE accessories) to municipal stores, with 100% local content, and with the ability to supply and certify products to SABS standards. Required registrations and compliance include SARS Tax Compliance, CSD, VAT (where applicable), and CIPC/JV arrangements if partnering.

Requirements

• Completed bid documents: original municipal bid document and all schedules (MBD forms including MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD6.2, MBD6.4, MBD8, MBD9).
• Tax and registries: Tax PIN/TCS certificate, CSD number, VAT registration (where applicable). If JV, PINs for all partners and JV agreement.
• Local content: 100% local content requirement.
• Supplier capability: letters from PPE manufacturers confirming supply within the timeframe; products must be new, with 12-month defect liability; SABS certification.
• Financials: Annual Financial Statements for latest three financial years.
• Evaluation: bids evaluated on 80/20, with 70-point functionality threshold (detailed criteria in the tender).
• Delivery and quality: six-week delivery after appointment letter; full compliance with SABS codes and specified KPIs.
