Supply and delivery of PPE in Southern GridClosed

Overview

The NTCSA seeks bids for the supply and delivery of PPE and workwear to the Southern Grid on an as-needed basis. Bidders should be PPE suppliers with proven supply capability, a certified quality management system (ISO 9001), CIDB registration, and compliance with Eskom OHS and procurement requirements (PPPFA/SBDs/BBEE).

Requirements

• ISO 9001-based QMS and related quality plan requirements (QM 58) as per Eskom Supplier Quality Management specification.
• Pre- and post-contract quality governance including a Contract Quality Plan and Quality Control Plan; capability and capacity assessments.
• Returnables: Annexures A–J (e.g., Authorisation Form, Acknowledgement, Tenderer’s particulars, Integrity Declaration, SBD 1/6.1/6.2, Tax clearance). CIDB proof of grading and COVID-era compliance where applicable.
• Compliance with PPPFA/BBEE rules, including SBD 6.1/6.2 and proof of tax status; local production content where relevant.
• Eskom OHS compliance: adherence to OHS requirements and acceptance of OHS Annexures (e.g., Annexure B) and contractor safety specifications for low-risk work.
• SDL&I objective criteria on local production/content where applicable, and alignment with Eskom procurement policies and CIDB guidelines. (Documents cited include 240-105658000, 559-1624821993, 240-77471499, and SDL&I inputs).
