Overview

SAFCOL seeks quotes for the supply and delivery of production workers PPE for Jessievale Plantation. Target bidders are PPE suppliers/distributors capable of providing the listed items (chainsaw pants/tunics, jackets, rainsuits, socks, boots, denim, hi-visibility jackets, etc.) in multiple sizes, with local content and B-BBEE compliance. Bids must meet local content requirements (SATS 1286:2011) and B-BBEE certifications; vendors must be SARS tax-compliant and CSD-registered. This RFQ references RFQ/JESS/711/015/2026 and is accompanied by attached scope PDFs (Jessievale Employee PPE.pdf; Production Employees PPE Jessievale1 1.pdf).

Requirements

• Administrative and compliance: fully complete RFQ on company letterhead; submit all SBD forms; provide SARS tax clearance; CSD (or MAAA) registration; ID copies of directors; SANAS B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE; JV requires consolidated BEE certificate; sign SAFCOL Supplier Code of Conduct; Annex C (Local Content) with SBD6.2.
• Technical and performance: 100% local content; demonstrate capability with reference letters; compliance to technical specs with a signed confirmation letter; provide delivery resources (minimum 2 LDV/trucks) and ENatis documentation if vehicles are owned by a third party.
• Disqualification risks: non-compliance with tax, false information, restricted suppliers, or misalignment with specifications.
• Evaluation: Phase 1 administrative; Phase 2 mandatory local content (100%); Phase 3 functionality (company experience, technical compliance, resources); Phase 4 price (80) and specific goals (20); 70-point minimum for functionality to progress.
• Specific goals: 51%+ Black Owned entities earning up to 20 points.
