Overview

SAFCOL invites quotes to supply and deliver production workers PPE for its NURSARY operations. Suitable bidders are PPE/ Uniform suppliers with SANAS-accredited B-BBEE verification (or EME/QSE sworn affidavit), capable of delivering the listed garments and safety gear in multiple sizes, with 100% local content where required, to SAFCOL’s Tweefontein/Klein Sabie area. Items include T-Shirts, jackets, rainsuits, socks, safety boots, denim trousers and winter jackets (sizes range as per the schedule).

Requirements

• Fully complete RFQ on company letterhead; submit by email; include SBD forms.
• Submit latest Tax Clearance, SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate (or EME/QSE sworn affidavit), CSD (or MA API number), and ID copies of directors.
• If bidding as a Joint Venture, provide consolidated B-BBEE certificate.
• Local content: PPE 100% local content; complete SBD 6.2 and Annex C; declare and audit where required.
• Compliance with all special conditions (no delivery before official PO/promissory note; prices include VAT; lowest price not guaranteed).
• Evaluation phases: Administrative Compliance, Mandatory Requirements, Functionality (minimum 70 points), then Price (80) and Specific Goals (20). Specific goals include 51%+ PWD-owned and 51%+ Black-owned status.
• Returnable documents include tax clearance, BBBEE, CSD/MAAA, director IDs, and proof of prior PPE supply experience.

• Submission deadline: 03 July 2026 (closing time per RFQ document is 12:00 PM) (RFQ/NURS/838/007/2026, Nursary PPE.pdf).
• Submission method: Email quotations to RFQCentralNSP@safcol.co.za; use the RFQ number and description in the subject line.
• Documents to complete/submit: fully completed RFQ, official company quotation, latest Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CSD/MAAA number, and director ID copies.
• Required registrations/pre-qualifications: CSD registration; SANAS B-BBEE (or EME/QSE affidavit); SARS tax clearance.
• Briefing session: None.
