Supply and Delivery of Protective Clothing for period of 24 Months

Supply and delivery of protective clothing for a 24-month period to Ntabankulu Local Municipality. This tender targets service providers able to manufacture/supply PPE and workwear (boots, overalls, jackets, gloves, visors, etc.) in line with SABS/OSH requirements. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and be tax-compliant with BBBEE/PPPFA rules. Mandatory briefing is required; the process includes a two-stage evaluation (Stage 1: functionality; Stage 2: price with preference points). Submissions must meet documented forms and compliance requirements and be deposited by the deadline.

Requirements

• CSD registration and tax compliance (TCS/PIN) and BBBEE/PPPFA compliance
• Fully completed bid documents (MBD 1–9) and pricing (MBD 3.1)
• Latest full CSD report (not older than 3 months), certified ID copies of directors, JV agreements if applicable
• Proof of municipal rates clearance for company and directors or a lease agreement
• Compliance with SABS/OSH Act requirements for all items; samples and manufacturer details may be requested
• Mandatory briefing session (16 October 2026) and no site inspection
• Bids must be sealed and deposited in the official bid box (ERF 85 Main Street, Ntabankulu) by 12:00 on 9 November 2026; bids valid for 90 days
• Evaluation: Stage 1 functionality (minimum 70% to proceed) and Stage 2 price with 80/20 or 90/10 preference rules

• Obtain bid documents from the Ntabankulu Local Municipality Website after the briefing session (see above document)
• Prepare and submit: MBD 1–9 packages, pricing (MBD 3.1), CSD/PIN, tax details, and all mandatory attachments
• Include latest CSD report, director IDs, JV agreements, rates clearance, and any other requested certifications
• Submit to: Bid Box, ERF 85 Main Street, Ntabankulu 5130, by 12:00 on 9 November 2026; late bids rejected
