SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF RADIOLOGICAL AIR SAMPLER FILTERS AND RADIOACTIVE SMEAR SAMPLES FOR THE NATIONAL RADIOACTIVE WASTE DISPOSAL FACILITY (VAALPUTS)

Overview

The NRWDI RFQ seeks the supply and delivery of radiological air sampler filters and radioactive smear samples for the Vaalputs facility. Bidder should be a laboratory consumables supplier capable of meeting the specified minimum specs, with documentation including COA, product data sheet, two reference letters, owner/director IDs, and compliance with SBD forms, CSD, BBBEE, ISO 9001:2015 (if applicable), and tax clearance.

Requirements

• 20 boxes of Radiological Air Sampler Filters (100 per box) and 20 boxes of Radioactive Smear Samples Papers (100 per box).
• Meet minimum technical specs (Air Filters: borosilicate glass microfibre, white binder-free, 1.6 μm pore, 47/25 mm diameters, 0.26 mm thickness; Smear Papers: cellulose, 47 mm (46 mm acceptable), ≤0.19 mm; equivalent products allowed if meeting criteria).
• Mandatory documentation: Certificate of Analysis, product technical data sheet, two verifiable reference letters on client letterheads, ID copies of owners/directors, ISO 9001:2015 certification (if applicable), BBBEE certificate or affidavit, completed SBD forms (SBD 4 & 6.1).
• Certifications and compliance: tax matters in order; registration on Central Supplier Database; not listed in restricted or tender defaulters registers.
