Overview

Supply and delivery of rain suits to Ugu District Municipality (RFQ REQ27030). This is a quotation for PPE rainwear intended for procurement of waterproof rain suits; suitable for suppliers of PPE apparel, rainwear manufacturers, or distributors with experience in EN471/SANS 50471 compliant garments. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database, in good standing for tax (TCS/PIN) and SARS e-filing, and may not be in the state’s service. Bids must be on official forms and evaluated under PPPFA 80/20 (or 90/10) as applicable.

Requirements

• CSD registration and tax compliance (TCS/PIN) or CSD number if no TCS
• SARS e-filing compliance; not in service of the state
• Bids submitted on official forms; include required supporting documents (CIPC registration, certified IDs, CSD report, tax clearance)
• Preference points for Specific Goals (ownership by black-person owned entities; local district promotion; youth/women/disabled) with documentary proof
• Compliance with PPPFA 80/20 (or 90/10); samples to be delivered by closing; prices excluding VAT; bid validity 30 days
• Late or incomplete submissions will be disqualified; submission by sealed bid in the official bid box

How to Apply

• Obtain bid documents from Ugu Treasury SCM at 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach, or download from the website (Tender Document) from 20 October 2026 to closing date.
• Complete the official bid forms: MBD1 Part A, MBD1 Part B, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9 (Tender Document).
• Attach required documents: CIPC, certified IDs, CSD updated report (not older than 3 months), SARS TCS/PIN, and any specific goal certifications (Tender Document).
• Submit to the Bid Box at 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach, by 12:00 on 28 October 2026 (Tender Document).
