Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of raw milk to Tambach Teachers College. This is an Open National Tender reserved for women, with bids due 21 July 2026. Requirements

• Eligibility and conduct
  • Tenderers may be private entities, individuals, or JVs; public officers and relatives are ineligible.
  • No conflicts of interest; compliance with anti-corruption and competition laws; include a Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.
  • If applicable, Joint Venture must be documented with a representative authorized to act for the JV.
• Pre-qualification and qualifications
  • Tax clearance certificate (Kenya) required for Kenyan bidders.
  • Manufacturer’s authorization required if the tenderer does not manufacture the goods.
  • If bidding via agent, local representation in Kenya may be required.
  • Tenderer must meet the qualification criteria in Section III.
• Goods and documentation
  • Goods and related services must meet eligibility criteria and conform to the tender specifications; provide country of origin declarations.
  • Items may need to be sourced from Kenya for designated categories; provide origin details.
  • Include spare parts, tools, and maintenance information for the post-sale period.
• Tendering process
  • Tender security or tendering declaration as specified in the Tender Data Sheet (TDS).
  • Forms must be completed without alteration; pages serialized; signed by authorized representatives.
  • Multiple lots may be tendered; prices must be given per lot/item; discounts must be clearly stated.
  • Prices must be in Kenyan Shillings; fixed during contract unless the TDS allows adjustments.

• Submission deadline and method
  • Deadline: 21 July 2026 (metadata shows 09:00; some sections show 11:00) – verify in the Tender Data Sheet; extensions may apply via Addenda.
  • Submissions must be made in sealed physical envelopes delivered to the college tender box or Boardroom; electronic submissions are not permitted.

  • Form of Tender and Price Schedules (Section IV); Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration (as per TDS).
  • Manufacturer’s Authorization (if applicable) and Joint Venture Agreement (if relevant).
  • Eligibility of Goods/Services documentation and conformity evidence (Section VII schedules).
  • Tax clearance certificate (Kenya) and any country of origin declarations.
  • Any other documents specified in the TDS (and the tender document sections).
• Pre-qualification and registrations
  • Tax clearance as evidence of tax compliance.
  • Any required registrations or pre-qualifications specified in the TDS (e.g., for JV arrangement).
• Briefing or clarifications
  • Clarifications may be sought in writing; pre-tender conference details (date/venue) if provided in the TDS.
