Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of reagents and servicing of lab equipment for a period ending 30 June 2029. This call is open to suppliers with laboratory reagents supply and lab equipment servicing capabilities, and who can meet the SCM prerequisites (CIDB, tax clearance, B-BBEE, CSD). Bidder eligibility includes CIDB grading (where applicable), tax-compliance, and registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).

Requirements

• Compulsory information session and site/information meeting.
• Registration and pre-qualification: CIDB (if applicable), Tax clearance, CSD registration, municipal rates/account proof, B-BBEE status.
• Documentation: official bid forms (MBD 1, 4, 6.1, 8, 9), pricing schedule, annexures, and all returnable documents; three references for relevant lab equipment projects.
• Locality and B-BBEE points: 80/20 system (80 price; 20 for B-BBEE and locality).
• Additional verifications: ownership/residence affidavits if owner-occupied premises; no late amendments; VAT invoicing compliance where contract value requires VAT invoicing.

• Submission method: sealed envelopes, tender box on Ground Floor, Investment Centre, 15 Main Road, Vredenburg; no fax/email submissions; drop before closing.
• Documents to submit: official bid documents plus compulsory attachments (MBD forms, CIDB, CSD, tax clearance, B-BBEE proof, municipal accounts, proof of registration, etc.); ensure all pages are complete and signatures in black ink.
