Overview

Supply and delivery of recycling containers for Swartland Municipality. The municipality invites bids for supplying and delivering recycling containers to support its recycling program. Bidders meeting the Council’s procurement policies with valid B-BBEE verification certificates and Proof of Locality will be considered for preference points.

Requirements

• Compliance with the Council’s procurement policies and the 80/20 preference point system.
• Complete Annexure MBD 6.1 and submit original/valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificates (or certified copies).
• Submit Proof of Locality to claim locality points.
• Sealed tender submissions only; no late tenders; no electronic or fax submissions; the Municipality may omit parts of the tender and is not obliged to accept the lowest bid.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 12:00 on Friday 18 September 2026 (documented in T17.26.27 Supply and Delivery of Recycling Containers(Notice).pdf).
• Submission method: sealed envelope deposited in the tender box at the Municipal Head Offices, cnr Kerk and Voortrekker Street, Malmesbury, before the deadline.
• Documents to submit: Annexure MBD 6.1, B-BBEE certificates, Proof of Locality; ensure compliance with the 80/20 points framework.
• Documents/registration: hard copy bid documents available for a non-refundable R190; electronic version available on request at no charge.
