Overview

The procurement is for the supply and delivery of reflective jackets and long-sleeve t-shirts to Ugu District Municipality. Relevant bidders are PPE/apparel suppliers and garment manufacturers/distributors capable of meeting the stated quantities and complying with SA procurement rules (PPPFA, GCC).

Requirements

• Registration or compliance: must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) or provide a Tax Compliance Status (TCS PIN) plus standard bid documents (MBD forms, CIPC registration, directors’ IDs).
• Compliance: adhere to PPPFA rules, GCC and any special conditions; use 80/20 (price) and 20 (specific goals) scoring framework or as applicable.
• Documentation and goals: attach required documents (CIPC certificate, IDs, CSD report, SARS TCS PIN or proof of TCS) and complete specific goal disclosures for ownership/local industrial development; provide proof for ownership, local district enterprise status, and other goal criteria as applicable.
• Additional bid integrity: complete and submit standard bid declarations (anti-corruption, independence) and disclose any relationships with state personnel.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 28 October 2026 at 12:00; late submissions will not be considered. Bids must be sealed and endorsed with REQ27031 and deposited in the official bid box at 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach.
• Submission method: physical delivery to the Ugu District Municipality bid box; no fax or email submissions.
• Documents to submit: official bid forms (MBD1 Part A/B, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and supporting documents listed above (CSD, TCS PIN, CIPC, IDs).
• Pre-qualification/registrations: CSD, SARS TCS PIN (or CSD number if no TCS); proof of VAT where applicable; if bidding with consortia, separate TCS/CSD for each party.
