Overview

Supply and delivery of a ride-on lawn mower to Swellendam Municipality. This RFQ is open to suppliers of lawn-care equipment who can supply and deliver to the municipality, and who can complete the prescribed documents, including tax compliance verification, under the municipality’s 80/20 preferential procurement framework.

Requirements

• Submit quotations in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the quotation number and description.
• Use the prescribed quotation documents and include a valid Tax Compliance Status PIN (SARS).
• Place quotations in the Municipal Quotation Box before 11:00 on 4 September 2026.
• Quotations sent by e-mail or facsimile will not be considered; late submissions are excluded.
• Quotations remain valid for 60 days from the closing date.
• Evaluated under Swellendam Municipality’s Preferential Procurement Policy and SCM Policy (80/20 system); Council may accept in full or part and is not bound to the lowest quotation.
• Quotation box is accessible 24/7; standard opening: 10 cm high x 33 cm wide.
• All technical inquiries must be in writing to the responsible official; no inquiries in the last two days before closing.
