Overview

Supply and delivery of safety boots to Ugu District Municipality. Suitable for PPE/safety-footwear suppliers and distributors with capabilities in footwear manufacturing or sourcing, plus compliance with PPPFA, CSD or TCS, and bid-form completion requirements.

Requirements

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) or provision of SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN.
• Complete and submit the required MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9).
• Provide CIPC registration, certified IDs for directors/owners, and proof of TCS/CSD status for consortiums or sub-contractors.
• Attach proof of Tax Compliance Status or PIN (SARS) and, if applicable, CSD printout (updated within 3 months).
• Adhere to PPPFA 2022 (80/20) with specific-goal points; provide documentation to claim ownership/local-enterprise goals and other specified goals.
• Must meet product specifications: EN ISO 20345, ISO 9001:2000, PASA approval, Vibram sole, Poron/EVA top sock, and black colour; samples must be delivered to Marburg Stores before closing.

• Submit in sealed envelopes, endorsed with REQ27027, to the Bid Box at 96 Marine Drive, Phase 3, Oslo Beach; late or incomplete quotes are not accepted; quotes valid for 30 days from closing date.
• Documents to include: MBD1 (Parts A/B), MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; proof of CSD or TCS; CIPC registration; certified director IDs; tax clearance or TCS; samples and delivery details; proof of municipal service payments if claiming specific goals.
