Overview

SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF SAN SWITCH AND NETWORK SERVER CARDS. Bidders should be IT hardware vendors with networking and SAN experience capable of supplying municipal-scale SAN switches and server cards, and must be registered on CWDM’s Supplier Database and the Central Supplier Database.

Requirements

• Registration on CWDM Accredited Supplier Database and Central Supplier Database (update annually).
• Tax compliance: Tax Compliance Pin (SARS); VAT considerations; tax matters in order.
• CIDB registration number if applicable.
• Complete quotation documents in BLACK ink with no Tipp-Ex; original documents; signed by an authorised signatory (board resolution if required).
• B-BBEE status verification certificates (or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs); include MBD 6.1 for preference points; locality documentation for specific goals.
• Attendance at site/information meetings if specified (compulsory/non-compulsory as stated).
• Bid validity period: 180 days from closing date.
• Locality requirements: municipal account within 90 days; lease or official bank letter for business address.
• Conformity with standards and conditions in GCC/SCC; warranty and support terms.

How to Apply

• Documents available on CWDM site or etenders portal; hard copies at 29 Du Toit Street, Stellenbosch (see tender).
• Submit sealed quotation in a sealed envelope, endorsed with the quotation number (Q2026/060) and description, placed in the CWDM tender box by 2026-10-28 11:00.
• Include completed quotation documents (MBD 1, MBD 4B, MBD 6.1, MBD 9, etc.) and pricing schedule; also provide CIDB, Tax Clearance Pin, B-BBEE certificates, and locality documents.
