Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of Seal Kits for BBC DC air blast circuit breakers (DLFB 133 NC2-1) for NTCSA Apollo & CS Grid, as a one-off purchase. Target bidders: suppliers of electrical seal kits with capability to service NTCSA/Eskom assets, familiar with NEC3 SSC3 contracts and local/CPA considerations. Tender is open via NTCSA/Eskom processes; submission by 23 July 2026 10:00 (120-day validity).

Requirements

• Ability to supply 10x Gasket Kit for DLFB 133 NC2-1 (Single Pole with Mechanical Control Block – no resistor) and meet Goods Information requirements.

• Returnables and documentation (mandatory in some cases; others non-disqualifying):

  • Electronic tender copy (PDF) and price list in PDF and Excel.
  • Authorisation Form; Acknowledgement Form; Tenderer’s particulars; Integrity Declaration; CPA declarations (local/foreign); Local Content declarations; SBD 1/ SBD 4; Tax clearance (foreign or SA); SBD 6.1/ PPPFA preferences; JV documentation if applicable (Annexures A–J).

• Compliance framework:

  • CPA requirements for Local/Foreign Goods (Annexures E/F); price adjustments if applicable (CPA formulaes required).
  • CIDB registration/grading evidence; SARS PIN or tax verification where applicable.
  • Eskom SDL&I and OHS/ SHEQ requirements (OHS specs, risk assessment, COID, etc.).

• Quality and safety:

  • QMS evidence (ISO 9001) where applicable (Form A Cat 4 / QA evidence).
  • OHS compliance for seal kit work at Apollo site (risk assessment, PPE, safe work practices).

• Contract and project data:

  • NEC3 SSC3 Contract Data and Goods Information as per the contract data package.
