Overview

Supply and delivery of spares and provision of repair services and maintenance to agricultural equipment (tractors) and implements for a period of 36 months. Bidders must be OEMs or accredited agents for the tractors listed (Landini, Holland, John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Kubota) and meet supplier-registration, tax and compliance requirements to bid.

Requirements

• OEM or accredited dealer/agent status for the specified tractor makes; if an accredited distributor, provide a manufacturer accreditation letter (see 36398-1J Tender Documentt.pdf, SCT 14).
• OEM/agent letters required per category; bidders may choose relevant sections (not mandatory to quote all categories).
• Compliance with registration on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and eThekwini supplier database; provide MAAA/CSD numbers (see 36398-1J).
• Tax compliance: Tax Clearance or Tax Compliance Status PIN; VAT status; declarations on municipal fees (MBD 3-9 as applicable).
• Returnable forms: Authority of Signatory; MBD 4, MBD 5 (if > R10m), MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9; Official Tender Form; other annexures (see 36398-1J).
• Occupational Health and Safety: sign the OHS Act declaration and the 37.2 safety agreement (doc 37.2 Agreement...).
• Delivery and contract terms: sealed hard copy tender and ESP electronic submission; hard copy governs if discrepancies arise (see 36398-1J).
• Briefing: no clarification meeting; all queries via email by 2026-07-09; answers posted 2026-07-16 (see 36398-1J).
• Evaluation: 80/20 price-preference (80 or 90 W, depending on system); B-BBEE points up to 20; 120-day tender validity with potential 12-month extension (see SCT 14; 3.2).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 24 July 2026 at 11:00; submit hard copy to 166 KE Masinga Road and electronic copy via ESP/JDE system (hard copy prevails) (see 36398-1J; SCT 3(5)).
