Overview

Framework contract for the supply and delivery of sporting items to Bungoma County Government over two years. Requirements

• Eligibility and conduct: open to private entities, individuals, state-owned entities; joint ventures allowed; no conflicts of interest; must not be debarred; comply with anti-corruption and independent tender determination requirements.
• Goods eligibility and sourcing: origin from eligible countries; items must meet the Schedule of Requirements; certain items (Kenya-origin/locally manufactured) must be sourced from Kenya with limited substitutions; environmental safeguards apply.
• Documentation and qualifications: Form of Tender, price schedules, tender security or tender-securing declaration, JV agreements if any, manufacturer authorization if required, tax clearance, evidence of eligibility of goods, and conformity with technical specs.
• Pricing: quotes in Kenyan Shillings; prices fixed unless the TDS allows adjustments; separate pricing for each lot/item; clear discount methodology.
• Additional: compliance with Section VII (Schedule of Requirements) and related procurement rules; include Certificate of Independent Tender Determination.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 21 July 2026 at 10:00 (see SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF SPORTING ITEMS). Late tenders will be rejected.
• Submission: hard-copy Tender to Chief Officer Finance, Bungoma; Tender Box outside Supply Chain Management Office Headquarters (address in document).
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender and price schedules; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; JV agreements (if applicable); Manufacturer Authorization (if applicable); tax clearance; country of origin evidence; conformity documents.
• Clarifications and briefing: submit written clarifications; pre-tender conference if scheduled (details in TDS).
