Overview

The supply and delivery of stoma/ostomy appliances and accessories to all hospitals and institutions under the Department of Health and Wellness in the Western Cape Government for three years. Bidders should be manufacturers or authorized suppliers with SAHPRA registration, ISO13485 (and/or ISO9001) quality management, and registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD). Requirements

• ISO9001 and/or ISO13485 certification for each manufacturer supplied; provide facility/country certificates if multiple manufacturers.
• SAHPRA licence as manufacturer/distributor/wholesaler for all items, where applicable.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration at bid close; tax-compliance verification window of 7 working days if needed.
• Western Cape WCBD documents: WCBD1, WCBD3.1, WCBD3.2 (ROE), WCBD4, WCBD5, WCBD6.1; WCBD7.1 after award.
• B-BBEE status consistent with WCBD6.1; supporting B-BBEE documentation.
• Occupational Health & Safety Act Section 37(2) agreement (Annexure A1) completed and submitted.
• Mandatory samples: 5 samples per item for clinical evaluation; delivery of samples within specified timelines.
• Delivery commitments: first order within 21 days; subsequent orders 48–72 hours; packaging with required labeling.
• ROE/price adjustments: prices may be fixed or ROE-based; ROE adjustments governed by WCBD 3.1/3.2.
• Delivery to stores/Western Cape Warehouse; stock availability throughout the contract.
