Overview

Supply and delivery of 15 x 5000L drinking-water storage tanks made from linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE), BPA-free, for the Marburg Workshop, Ugu District Municipality. Open to suppliers registered with CIPC and CSD, with tax compliance status; foreign suppliers may have additional PPPFA requirements.

Requirements

• PPPFA: 80/20 weighting (80 for price, 20 for specific goals); price and specific-goal points determine award.
• Preference goals and supporting documentation: ownership (EME/QSE 100% black-owned or 51% black-owned), local enterprise location (District Municipality rural/urban or within Province), and other goals (e.g., youth/women/disabled).
• Documentation to submit with the bid: CIPC registration, certified ID copies for directors/owners, Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration, SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN or equivalent, and the required MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9).
• Additional proofs for specific goals: certified certificates/affidavits for ownership and local enterprise indicators; proof of disability if applicable.
• Compliance and governance: bid must be on official forms; declaration regarding in-service state personnel and bid defaulters; adherence to GCC and PPPFA rules; no in-service awards to state employees.
• Technical/operational: delivery of 15 tanks on order; lead-time to be advised; price validity 30 days; submission in sealed tender box; late or incomplete bids will be rejected.
