Overview

This tender concerne the supply and delivery of submersible dewatering pumps for the Department of Water and Sanitation’s Operations Eastern. Bidders should be pump suppliers/manufacturers with electrical/mechanical capability and experience in water/wastewater pumping equipment, able to supply three pump sizes (five units each: 0.55 kW, 0.75 kW, 5.6 kW).

Requirements

• Compliance with technical specifications for five units of each pump size (0.55 kW, 0.75 kW, 5.6 kW).
• Complete and submit all returnable documents: SBD1, SBD3.1, SBD4, SBD6.1, Bill of Quantities, and initial/tender data sections (T1.1–T1.3).
• CSD registration, SARS Tax Clearance (PIN), and Company registration with CIPC; provide proof (CSD report, Tax PIN, CIPC certificate).
• B-BBEE Status certificate or sworn affidavit; sign authority (Letter of Appointment/board resolution).
• Complete Annex C/D/E for local content declarations (as applicable); ensure all required documents are attached.
• Quotations valid for 120 days; payments by Electronic Funds Transfer.

How to Apply

• Review the tender documents and ensure full compliance (WTE-2623ES.pdf; T1.1–T1.4).
• Prepare and submit: SBD1, SBD3.1 (firm prices), SBD4, SBD6.1, BOQ, company and tax registrations, BBBEE proof, authority to sign, and CSD/SARS documents (T1.3).
• Price the three line items in the Pricing Schedule (SBD3.1) with firm prices; total bid valid 120 days (VAT excluded, then VAT applied).
• Submit the ORIGINAL BID in a sealed envelope endorsed as “Original Bid for WTE-2623ES” to the Bid Box at the entrance of the Department of Water and Sanitation – Midmar Dam, R103 Prospect Road, Howick, 3290, or via the postal address provided (WTE-2623ES). Bids must arrive by 11:00 on 16 September 2026 (WTE-2623ES).
