Overview

Supply and delivery of Swagelok or equivalent compression tube fittings to the South African Weather Service (SAWS). Open to suppliers with capability to provide Swagelok fittings (or equivalent), deliver to the Cape Town location, and meet SAWS’ contracting and compliance requirements; the RFQ is capped at a 60-day validity with an estimated budget up to the R500,000 mark. Submissions are electronic, with no compulsory briefing session.

Requirements

• Tax clearance and supplier status: provide SARS PIN/TCS or CSD number; foreign bidders may require SARS confirmation.
• B-BBEE: provide status and verification as applicable to claim preference points.
• Forms and documents: complete Annexures A, B, C, F, G, H, and I as part of the bid; SBDs to be included.

• Compliance and integrity: no state-elected disqualifications; adhere to GCC and SAWS procurement policies; disclose any potential conflicts (Annexure C).
• Delivery and terms: delivery to SAWS Cape Town address; payment terms: net 30 days from invoice (Annexure A).
• POPIA: supplier consent form and data protection compliance (Annexure I).
