Supply and delivery of swimwear in UMW as detailed in the RFQClosed

Overview

RFQ SZ 43 seeks the supply and delivery of swimwear in UMW; bidders registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and the eThekwini Supplier Portal should bid. The call covers kids, ladies, men’s swimwear and related rashvests, with items and sizes listed in the attached specification.

Requirements

• Must be registered on CSD and the eThekwini Supplier Portal; provide latest CSD proof.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN/TCS status (including for consortia/sub-contractors); comply with tax requirements.
• Complete and submit mandatory MBD forms: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9.
• Offer on official forms/letterhead; subject to 80/20 (price) and specific goals preferences under the PPFA Regulations 2022.
• Compulsory site briefing to view samples; pricing and branding requirements (uShaka branding, packaging) as per the specification.
• Foreign bidders must complete the pre-award questionnaire and, if applicable, provide TCS/CSD details per Part B.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 12 October 2026 at 11:00 (late bids not accepted) (see Main Tender Document: sz43.pdf).
• Submit to the Bid Box at Guest Information Centre, 1 King Shaka Avenue, Ushaka Marine, Durban; sealed envelopes only.
• Documents to submit: completed MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; proof of CSD/TCS/PIN; company letterhead quotation; tax clearance details; VAT and contact details.
• Briefing session: compulsory on 7 October 2026 at 10:00 outside the Guest Information Centre (site samples on display) (see sz43.pdf).
