Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of tracksuits to Tambach Teachers College. Open tender reserved for women; suitable for bidders in apparel manufacturing/supply, school uniforms, and related garments with capacity to service a college.

Requirements

• Eligibility and conflicts: private entities, individuals, state-owned bodies; joint ventures allowed with joint and several liability; avoid public officer involvement; no conflicts of interest; avoid debarment (PPRA list) and ensure tax clearance where required.
• Bids and documentation: include Form of Tender, price schedules, tender security or securing declaration, manufacturer’s authorization if applicable, JV agreement if a JV bid, eligibility and conformity evidence, and conformity to technical specs.
• Goods eligibility and origin: origin to be in eligible countries; Kenya sourcing rules apply for certain items; no substitutions from foreign sources for listed Kenyan-made/assembled goods.
• Sales taxes, duties, and pricing: evaluation considers taxes and duties; prices must be in Kenyan Shillings (with allowed currencies per TDS) and are fixed during contract execution.

How to Apply

• Get documents: complete tender documents can be purchased/obtained for KShs 1,000 (cash or bank cheque) or downloaded free from www.tambachteacherstraining.co.ke; downloaders must email tambachttc@yahoo.com for clarifications (see SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TRACKSUITS.pdf).
• Submission: tenders must be sealed and delivered physically to Tambach Teachers College; electronic submissions are not permitted (per invitation).
• Deadline: complete tenders due 21/07/2026 (time specified in the Invitation to Tender; document discrepancies exist between 11:00am and 09:00, see attached file for details).
• Required contents: original tender, copies as required, tender security or securing declaration, JV documents if applicable, manufacturer authorizations, tax clearance, eligibility/qualification documentation, and conformity evidence to specifications (Section VII).
• Briefing/clarifications: written queries allowed before deadlines; minutes and addenda issued as applicable (pre-tender meeting details in TDS).
