Overview

The Department of Water and Sanitation invites bids to supply and deliver test kits for toxicity laboratory operations. Open to suppliers of laboratory test kits and related chemicals/reagents with the capability to supply and deliver to a government facility, and that meet statutory and procurement requirements (tax clearance, SARS PIN, CSD registration, BBBEE, and compliance with GCC/SCC).

Requirements

• Goods: test kits for a toxicity lab (e.g., EVO Kit 1243-500; MBT-TB41 5 tubes) with firm pricing and included taxes.
• Compliance: tax clearance, SARS PIN, CSD number, BBBEE status (EME/QSE) or sworn affidavit, and no state employees or linked disqualifications.
• Contract terms: adherence to GCC/SCC, and ability to sign SBD contracts; compliance with 80/20 (price) and specific goals (women, disability, youth, location, BBBEE).
• Evaluation: firm prices; 90-day bid validity; price and specific goals determine 100 points (80 for price, 20 for specific goals).
