Overview

Procurement of supply and delivery of testing equipment for fuel and lubricants for Clanwilliam Dam in the Western Cape. Suitable bidders are suppliers/manufacturers of fuel and lubricant testing equipment with capabilities to complete government bids, including SBD-compliant forms, tax and supplier registrations, and B-BBEE considerations.

Requirements

• Tax/compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN via e-filing or SARS certificate) and CSD registration; CIP/CIPRO active; VAT details as applicable.
• Corporate prerequisites: active Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; evidence of authority to sign bids (Board resolution or appointment letter); if a joint venture, ensure all parties meet requirements.
• B-BBEE: valid B-BBEE Status Level Verification Certificate (or sworn affidavit for EMEs/QSEs) to claim preference points.
• Documentation: complete and sign SBD forms (SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1) and provide Pricing Schedule; include technical datasheets/brochures showing compliance to specs.
• Additional: ensure inclusion of letters appointing authorized signatories; compliance with technical specification (3.2.14) and complete Phase 1–3 documentation for evaluation.
