Overview

This tender seeks the supply and delivery of three laptops for the Corporate Services Unit. Suitable, qualified service providers with IT hardware sourcing capability should bid, and be prepared to meet SA government procurement requirements (e.g., MBD forms, CSD, sample provision). Requirements

• Original certified copies of owner’s ID (not older than six months)
• Proof of company registration (CIPC) or ID copy for sole proprietor
• Recent municipal account in the bidder’s name (or approved alternative affidavit/lease arrangements as described)
• Recent municipal accounts in the directors’ names or approved director affidavits as described
• Completed MBD 3.1 stamped and signed; submit MBD 1, 4, 6.1, 8, 9
• False declaration in MBD 4 para 3.14 or CSD information leads to disqualification
• Quotations must be submitted on company letterhead in addition to MBDs
• Include full CSD Report
• Adhere to 80/20 Preferential Point System; use Municipal Tender Document; not obliged to accept the lowest quote
• Provide a sample of the laptops; failure to do so disqualifies the bid
• No telegraphic, faxed, or emailed submissions; submissions must be in the tender box
• No bids from persons in the service of the state

How to Apply

• Obtain bid documents from 08 October 2026 on etenders.gov.za and the municipality site (ADVERT - Q06019...).
• Prepare required documents: MBD forms, CSD, company letterhead, and the laptop sample.
• Submit in a sealed bid to the tender box at uMzinyathi District Municipality, 39 Victoria Street, Princess Magogo Building, Dundee, 3000 (address in the attached advert) by 12:00 on 15 October 2026; bids opened in public (ADVERT - Q06019...).
• Ensure sample is included; ensure price is valid for 90 days and inclusive of VAT/disbursements.
