Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of toilet paper, plastic bags, plastic aprons, cleaning materials and equipment to all hospitals/institutions under Western Cape Health & Wellness for a five-year term. • Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) at bid closing; non‑compliant or unregistered bidders will be disqualified.
• Tax compliance: provide SARS PIN/TCS status (or printed TCS); if not verifiable, 7 working days to comply.
• B‑BBEE: complete WCBD 6.1 for 80/20 and 90/10; submit WCBD4; B‑BBEE evidence evaluated on WCBD 6.1 (not SEB/CSD).
• Sign and return a written contract (WCBD7.1) if awarded.
• Delivery: comply with 21 days after first order, then 48–72 hours for subsequent orders.
• Packaging/labeling: outer cartons must include manufacturer, item name/code, date of manufacture, expiry, lot/batch, and sterilization details; if contracted, label with contractor details.
• Samples/evaluation: comply with sample submission and evaluation requirements; label samples with bid/item numbers and provide accompanying evaluation forms.
• Environment: green/sustainable products encouraged; provide verifiable environmental data where possible.
