Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of toners and cartridges for all uMngeni-uThukela Water sites for five years. Eligible bidders are suppliers of office consumables (toners/cartridges) with the capacity to service all UUW sites, including compliance with B-BBEE and SCM requirements; readiness to partner with targeted enterprises under the Contract Participation Goals.

Requirements

• Public Liability Insurance minimum R10,000,000 for the contract period.
• Compliance with CIDB/SCM standards and three-stage evaluation (mandatory, functionality, price and preference goals).
• Returnable documents: SBD disclosure (SBD 4), BBBEE evidence (certificate or sworn affidavit) and, for consortia, lead-member authorisation and consortium agreement.
• B-BBEE and CPG obligations: at least 35% Contract Participation Goals (25% from UUW area, 10% local) via CPG Partners; appropriate subcontracting arrangements.
• Registrations: CSD registration; VAT number; tax/compliance status as applicable (foreign suppliers questionnaire if relevant).
• Bid validity: proposals remain open for 120 days.
• Documentation format: bids submitted in English, with original plus electronic copy; clearly structured with returnable schedules.
• Standard tender conditions: CIDB SCM009 and UUW tender data apply.

• Submission deadline: 01 October 2026 at or before 12:00.
• Submission method: physical submission in the UUW Tender Box at 310 Burger Street; late or electronic submissions not accepted.
• Documents to submit (where applicable): SBD 4, pricing schedule for goods, BBBEE documentation, consortium/JV agreements (if applicable), CSD/VAT details, and any addenda/Briefing Notes.
