Overview

The Department of Agriculture, Eastern Cape, seeks to procure and deliver tractors and implements (5 Ton tipping trailer, 600L crop sprayer, 65 kW tractor, 3-tine ripper) to the Eastern Cape delivery site. This is an open-tender. The project requires suppliers capable of providing agricultural mechanisation equipment and related services (delivery, training, and after-sale considerations).

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience delivering cropping mechanisation machinery (refer to evaluation criteria).
• Capacity to timeously deliver the required implements (logistics and transport arrangements).
• Locality: operating within the Eastern Cape (preferably) or South Africa.
• Compliance: registration on CSD and LOGIS; tax compliance verified; valid pricing and company documentation.
• Returnable documents and forms completed (e.g., ECBD documents; SBD forms; joint venture arrangements if applicable) and submitted in black ink with no corrections fluid.
• Additional supplier requirements: training for operators and maintenance personnel; spare parts availability for at least five years; supplier must be financially sound and able to deliver promptly.
