Overview

Supply and delivery of traffic signal LED modules as and when required for 36 months. This tender is for LED modules for traffic signals; open to manufacturers or accredited distributors/stockists, with CSD registration and compliance to SANS 1459:2021, for the eThekwini Municipality (Durban).

Requirements

• Must be registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and the eThekwini supplier database; provide MAAA/CSD numbers.
• Must be a manufacturer or accredited stockist/agent of LED modules; if not a manufacturer, provide a manufacturer/distributor letter; must supply SABS 1459:2021 documentation in the name of the manufacturer.
• Compliance with SANS 1459:2021, and the LED modules must meet the technical scope (7 items in the SCT).
• Provide fully compliant samples of each required LED module for testing; samples deliverable to the ETA, Durban (30 Archie Gumede Place).
• Returnable documents: Tax Compliance Status PIN or Tax Clearance; MBD 4, MBD 5 (if applicable), MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9; Authority of Signatory; Official Tender Form; JV agreements if applicable.
• No tender from persons in the service of the state.

How to Apply

• Evaluation: price and preferences under the 80/20 system (specific goals as per SCT/MBD 6.1); lowest compliant price not guaranteed; may award in whole or part.
• Mandatory samples and compliance tests; failure to submit samples renders bid non-responsive.
