SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF TRAFFIC SIGNAL POLE FITTINGS UPPER AND LOWER MOUNTINGS FOR A PERIOD OF 36 MONTHS

Overview

Supply and delivery of traffic signal pole fittings (upper and lower mountings) for a 36-month contract. Bidders should be manufacturers or distributors of traffic-signal hardware and related metal fittings, with capabilities to supply the specified mounting components to the eThekwini Municipality.

Requirements

• Registered on National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) and on the eThekwini Municipality vendor database (MAAA number) and able to supply for a 36-month period.
• Submit mandatory returnable documents: MBD 4, MBD 5 (where applicable), MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9, and the Official Tender Form; complete Authority of Signatory.
• Tax compliance: Tax Clearance Certificate or Tax Compliance Status PIN; VAT status if applicable.
• Declaration of Municipal Fees and up-to-date account details; Declaration of Occupational Health and Safety (Act 85 of 1993) and 37.2 safety agreement.
• Comply with procurement and contract rules, including the ability to deliver per Section 8 pricing, and to provide any required samples if requested. Samples delivery to Durban location may be required (see SCT6).
• No tender from persons in the service of the state; adhere to anti-bribery and SCM rules.
• Delivery terms: price to include delivery to the specified delivery point; hard-copy and electronic submissions are required; hard copy governs for evaluation. Details in the attached documents.
