Overview

Procurement of trained explosives (including firearms) detection canines, including handler training for four (4) handlers, for the Stellenbosch Municipality Law Enforcement Department. Target bidders are providers of detection dogs, explosive/firearms-detection services, and related handler training with relevant certifications. The contract is valid for 180 days and uses a 80/20 BBBEE-based evaluation.

Requirements

• Bidder must be registered on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD).
• Tax compliance: provide SARS Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN; foreign bidders may need to complete pre-award questionnaire.
• BBBEE: submit a B-BBEE Verification Certificate or original sworn affidavit (EMEs/QSEs may use sworn affidavit).
• Complete and submit the official bid documents (MBD forms) and pricing schedule; seals and signatures as required.
• Accept General Conditions of Contract (GCC) and Stellenbosch SCM and Preferential Procurement Policy; 80/20 price/BBBEE scoring.
• Provide OHSA good standing and, if applicable, forms for joint ventures or consortia; include power of attorney/resolutions as required.
