Overview

Procurement of two production machines: a Twin Uni-Plant and a Uni-Hydraulic Plant, including delivery and training, for JB Marks Local Municipality. Bid is open to suppliers of brick/block-making machinery with relevant experience; candidates should have, at minimum, formal bids processes, tax clearance, and capability to train municipal staff.

Requirements

• Valid Tax Compliance Status or SARS PIN; foreign bidders may need a pre-award questionnaire; separate TCS for JV/consortiums.
• Registration on Central Supplier Database (CSD) or provide a CSD number if no TCS is available.
• Demonstrated past supply of similar equipment; provide proof (appointment letters, delivery notes). A 50% minimum functionality threshold applies to proceed to price evaluation.
• Complete and submit the listed bid documents (MBD 1, MBD 3.1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1, MBD 8, MBD 9, Authority of Signatory, Past Experience Annex, Required Documentation).
• Training obligation: successful bidder must train municipal employees and issue certificates.
• Evaluation: 80 points for price, 20 for Specific Goals; price validity 90 days; bid validity 120 days.
• All prices VAT inclusive; delivery costs included; firm pricing; no late or facsimile submissions.
