Overview

Procurement: supply and delivery of two laptops and bags for interns. Issued as a RFQ by Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality. Suitable bidders are Accredited Service Providers with corporate registration and compliance to SARS/CSD, and who can meet the detailed bid rules, qualifications and laptop specs.

Requirements

• Registered business with CK, Central Supplier Database (CSD) and current SARS Tax Clearance Status PIN.
• Certified copies of directors’ IDs (valid within 3 months).
• JV/Consortium documentation if applicable (comprehensive JV/consortium agreement).
• Complete and sign all required bid forms (e.g., Form of Offer/Declaration of Interest, MBD1–MBD9 as applicable).
• Company profile showing relevant experience; BBBEE status verification certificate or sworn affidavit.
• Prices must be firm, inclusive of VAT, and the costing must be presented on the required Costing Schedule.
• Local content declarations may apply under the designated-sector framework (SATS 1286:2011) if applicable.
• Bid valid for 90 days; supplier must not be in the service of the state.
• Preference points: 80/20 (Price 80, BBBEE 10, Specific Goals 10).

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents from the SCM office or download from the municipality website (RFQ04/07/2026).
• Submit a sealed bid in a clearly labeled envelope to the Bid Box, Budget and Treasury Office, 25-27 Owen Street, Queenstown, by 11 August 2026 at 12:00.
• Include: CK certificate, CSD proof, SARS TCS PIN, certified director IDs, comprehensive JV (if any), BBBEE certificate, company profile, tax/compliance docs, MBD forms (MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD6.2, MBD8, MBD9), costing schedule, and the local-content declarations where required.
• No bids will be accepted via email; late bids are disqualified.

• No site inspection scheduled, but bidders should acquaint themselves with the requirements.
