Overview

Msunduzi Municipality seeks the supply and delivery of two-stroke fuel mix for a three-year period; suitable bidders are accredited fuel suppliers with wholesale licensing, VAT/tax compliance, and delivery capability to the Pietermaritzburg depot (ready-mixed at delivery).

Requirements

• Valid Wholesalers Licence under The Petroleum Product Amendment Act (Act 58 of 2003) with proof of payment.
• CSD registration: provide CSD Supplier Number and Unique Registration Reference Number.
• Tax compliance: valid Tax Clearance Certificate and SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN (or equivalent verification); ability to verify status on CSD.
• Pricing must be VAT-inclusive; provide VAT status/registration details as applicable.
• Insurance: environmental/pollution cover of R5 million (single claim) and site risk insurance of R500,000; transportation/pollution policy required.
• Delivery terms: ready-mixed two-stroke fuel; no on-site mixing; deliver within 24 hours of Purchase Order to the designated depot; include Delivery Note with each delivery.
• Compliance with applicable legislation (OHS, COID, LRA, BCEA, MFMA, VAT, PF Regulations, etc.) and ability to sign required Data Sheets and Annexures.
• Documentation: complete Tender Form and all Data Sheets (MBD 4/3.1/3.2/3.3/8/9, etc.), Annexures A–F, and submit on CD/USB as required.
• Optional but relevant: CIDB CRS registration (if applicable) for bidder profile.
